PROPHET MUHAMMAD (saws) said: There is no worshiper who says, in the morning of every day, and the evening of every night:Three times, (except that) nothing shall harm him.

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الَّذِي لاَ يَضُرُّ مَعَ اسْمِهِ شَىْءٌ فِي الأَرْضِ وَلاَ فِي السَّمَاءِ وَهُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ

(Bismil LaahiL Lazee Laa Yazurru Ma'as Mihi Shai Un Fil Arzi Walaa Fis Samaa ee Wa Hu Was Samee UL Aleem).

In the name of Allah, when Whose name is mentioned nothing on Earth or in Heaven can cause harm, And He is the Hearer, the Knower. (SUNAN TIRMIDHI Vol #6, Hadith #3388)

PROPHET MUHAMMAD (saws) said:Whoever performs Wudhu, making Wudhu well, then says:then eight gates of Paradise are opened for him, that he may enter by whichever of them he wishes.

أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لاَ شَرِيكَ لَهُ وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُهُ وَرَسُولُهُ اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْنِي مِنَ التَّوَّابِينَ وَاجْعَلْنِي مِنَ الْمُتَطَهِّرِينَ

(Ash Hadu AL Laa ILaaha IL LaL Laahu Wah Dahu Laa Shareeka Lahu Wa Ash Hadu Anna Muhammadan Ab Duhu Wa Rasooluh Allah Hummaj Alnee Minat Tawwabeena Waja Alnee Minal Muta Tah Hireen.)

I testify that none has the right to be worshipped but Allah Alone, there are no partners for Him. And I testify that Muhammad (saws) is His servant and Messenger. O Allah! Make me among the repentant, and make me among those who purify themselves. (SUNAN TIRMIDHI Vol #1, Hadith #55)

PROPHET MUHAMMAD (saws) said: Whoever after listening to the Azaan says:Then intercession for me will be permitted for him on the Day of Judgment.

اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّ هَذِهِ الدَّعْوَةِ التَّامَّةِ وَالصَّلاَةِ الْقَائِمَةِ آتِ مُحَمَّدًا الْوَسِيلَةَ وَالْفَضِيلَةَ وَابْعَثْهُ مَقَامًا مَحْمُودًا الَّذِي وَعَدْتَهُ

(Allah Humma Rabba Haazi Hid Dawatit Taam Maati Was Salaatil Qaa Imaati Aati Muhammadanil Waseelata Wal Fazeelata Wa Ba'as Hu Maqaamam Mahmoodanil Lazee Wa Adt tah.)

O Allah! Lord of this perfect call and of the regular prayer which is going to be established, give Muhammad (saws) the right of intercession and illustriousness, and resurrect him to the best and the highest place in Paradise that You promised him (of). (SAHIH BUKHARI Vol #1, Hadith #614)

PROPHET MUHAMMAD (saws) said: Whoever eats food and then says:his past sins shall be forgiven.

الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي أَطْعَمَنِي هَذَا وَرَزَقَنِيهِ مِنْ غَيْرِ حَوْلٍ مِنِّي وَلاَ قُوَّةٍ

(Al Hamdu LiLLa HiL Lazee At Amanee Haazaa Wara Zaqa Neehi Min Ghairi Haulim Minnee Wala Quwwah)

All praise is due to Allah who fed me this and granted it as provision to me, without any effort from me nor power. (SUNAN TIRMIDHI Vol #6, Hadith #3458)

Narrated Hudhaifa (ra): When Prophet Muhammad (saws) got up (from sleep) he would say:

الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي أَحْيَانَا بَعْدَ مَا أَمَاتَنَا وَإِلَيْهِ النُّشُورُ

(Al Hamdu LiLLa HiL Lazee Ah YaaNaa Bada Maa Amaa Tanaa Wa ILaihin Nushoor.)

Praise be to Allah Who has given us life after He caused us to die, and to Him is the Resurrection. (SAHIH BUKHARI Vol #8, Hadith #6314)

PROPHET MUHAMMAD (saws) said: Whoever gets up at night and says: And then says: -- Allah Hummagh Firli (O Allah! Forgive me). Or invokes (Allah), he will be responded to and if he performs ablution (and prays), his prayer will be accepted.

وَسُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ وَلاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ وَاللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ وَلاَ حَوْلَ وَلاَ قُوَّةَ إِلاَّ بِاللَّهِ قَدِيرٌ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لاَ شَرِيكَ لَهُ لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ

(Laa ILaaha ILLaL Laahu Wahdahu Laa Shareeka Lahu, Lahul Mulku, Wala Hul Hamdu, Wa Huwa Alaa Kulli Shai In Qadeer. Al Hamdu LiLLahi, Wa Subhaan Allahi, Walaa ILaaha ILLaL Laahu, WaLLa Hu Akbar, Walaa Haula Walaa Quwwata ILLa BiLLah )

None has the right to be worshipped but Allah. He is the Only One and has no partners . For Him is the Kingdom and all the praises are due for Him. He is Omnipotent. All the praises are for Allah. All the glories are for Allah. And none has the right to be worshipped but Allah, And Allah is Great And there is neither Might nor Power Except with Allah. (SAHIH BUKHARI Vol #2, Hadith #1154)

PROPHET MUHAMMAD (saws) said: Whoever sits in a sitting and engages in much empty, meaningless speech and then says before getting from that sitting of his:whatever occurred in that sitting would be forgiven to him.

بُ إِلَيْكَ سُبْحَانَكَ اللَّهُمَّ وَبِحَمْدِكَ أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ أَنْتَ أَسْتَغْفِرُكَ وَأَتُوٍ

(Subhaanak Allah Humma Wa Bi Ham Dika Ash Hadu Al Laa ILaaha ILLa Anta Astagh Firuka Wa Atoobu ILaik)

Glory is to You, O Allah, and praise, I bear witness that there is none worthy of worship except You, I seek Your forgiveness, and I repent to You. (SUNAN TIRMIDHI Vol #6, Hadith #3433)

When he awakens, let him say:

الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي عَافَانِي فِي جَسَدِي وَرَدَّ عَلَىَّ رُوحِي وَأَذِنَ لِي بِذِكْرِهِ

(Al Hamdu LiLLa HiL Lazee AaFaaNee Fee Jasadee Wa Radda Alayya Roo Hee Wa Azina Lee Bizikrih )

All praise is due to Allah, Who healed me in my body, and returned to me my soul, and permitted me to remember Him. (SUNAN TIRMIDHI Vol #6, Hadith #3401)

PROPHET MUHAMMAD (saws) said: When one of you eats food, then let him say:

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ

(Bismillah)

In the Name of Allah

If he forgets in the beginning, then let him say:

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ فِي أَوَّلِهِ وَآخِرِهِ

(BismiL Laahi Fee Avva Lihi Wa Aaa khi Rihi) In the Name of Allah in its beginning and its end. (SUNAN TIRMIDHI Vol #3, Hadith #1858)

Anas (ra) said: Whenever the Prophet (saws) went to answer the call of nature, he used to say,

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْخُبُثِ وَالْخَبَائِثِ

( Allah Humma Innee Auzu Bika Minal Khubsi Wal Khabaa Is.)

O Allah, I seek Refuge with You from all offensive and wicked things (evil deeds and evil spirits. (SAHIH BUKHARI Vol #1, Hadith #142)

Aishah (ra) said: When the Prophet (saws) would exit the toilet he would say:

غُفْرَانَكَ

(Ghuf Raanaka)

I seek Your forgiveness. (SUNAN TIRMIDHI Vol #1, Hadith #7)

Hudhaifa (ra) said: When the Prophet Muhammad (saws) went to bed at night, he would put his hand under his cheek (right) and then say:

اللَّهُمَّ بِاسْمِكَ أَمُوتُ وَأَحْيَا

(Allah Humma Bismika Amuutu Wa Ahya)

O Allah, in Your Name I die and I live (SAHIH BUKHARI Vol #8, Hadith #6314)

Ali narrated: that a Mukatib (slave) came to him and said: “Indeed I am not capable of my Kitabah (agreement for an amount of money as a price for the slave's freedom) so aid me.” He said: “Should I not teach you words that the Messenger of Allah (saws) taught me? If you had a debt upon you similar to the mountain of Sir, Allah would fulfill it for you. He said: ‘Say:

اللَّهُمَّ اكْفِنِي بِحَلاَلِكَ عَنْ حَرَامِكَ وَأَغْنِنِي بِفَضْلِكَ عَمَّنْ سِوَاكَ

(Allah Hummak Finii Bi Halaalika An Haraamika Wa Agh Ninii Bi Fazlika Amman Siwaak)

And make me independent of all those besides You. O Allah, suffice me with Your lawful against Your prohibited, (SUNAN TIRMIDHI Vol #6, Hadith #3563)

It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said: When the Messenger of Allah (saws) offered the funeral prayer he would say:

اللَّهُمَّ مَنْ أَحْيَيْتَهُ مِنَّا فَأَحْيِهِ عَلَى الإِسْلاَمِ وَمَنْ تَوَفَّيْتَهُ مِنَّا فَتَوَفَّهُ عَلَى الإِيمَانِ اللَّهُمَّ لاَ تَحْرِمْنَا أَجْرَهُ وَلاَ تُضِلَّنَا بَعْدَهُ اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِحَيِّنَا وَمَيِّتِنَا وَشَاهِدِنَا وَغَائِبِنَا وَصَغِيرِنَا وَكَبِيرِنَا وَذَكَرِنَا وَأُنْثَانَا

(Allah Hummagh Fir Li Hayyina Wa Mayyitina Wa Shaa Hidina Wa Ghaa Ibina Wa Sagheerina Wa Kabeerina Wa Zakarina Wa Unsana Allah Humma Man Ahyay Tahu Minna Fa Ah Yihi Alal Islaam Waman Tawaff Faytahu Minna Fata Waffa Hu Alal Imaan Allah Humma Laa Tahrimna Aj Rahu Walaa Tuzill Lana Ba'adah )

O Allah, forgive our living and our dead, those who are present and those who are absent, our young and our old, our males and our females. O Allah, whomever of us You cause to live, let him live in Islam, and whomever of us You cause to die, let him die in (a state of) faith. O Allah, do not deprive us of his reward, and do not let us go astray after him. (SUNAN IBN MAJAH Vol #2, Hadith #1498)

PROPHET MUHAMMAD (saws) said: Whoever visits a sick person whose time of death has not come, and says in his presence, SEVEN times

أَسْأَلُ اللَّهَ الْعَظِيمَ رَبَّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ أَنْ يَشْفِيَكَ

(As Alul LaahaL Azeema Rabbal Arshil Azeemi Aiy Yash Fi Yak)

Allah will heal him of that sickness. I ask Allah the Magnificent, Lord of the Magnificent Throne, to cure you. (SUNAN ABU DAWUD Vol #3, Hadith #3106)

Narrated: Anas bin Malik Whenever a matter would distress him, the Prophet Muhammad (saws) would say:

يَا حَىُّ يَا قَيُّومُ بِرَحْمَتِكَ أَسْتَغِيثُ

(Ya Hayyu Ya Qayyum Bi Rahma Tika Asta Ghees)

O Living, O Self-Sustaining Sustainer (Allah)! In Your Mercy do I seek relief. (SUNAN TIRMIDHI Vol #6, Hadith #3524)

PROPHET MUHAMMAD (saws) said: When a man goes out of his house, and says:

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ عَلَى اللَّهِ لاَ حَوْلَ وَلاَ قُوَّةَ إِلاَّ بِاللَّهِ

(BismiL Laahi Tawak Kaltu Alal Laahi Laa Haula Wala Quw Wata ILLa BiLLah )

Then it is said: You have been guided, sufficed and protected, and the devils go far away from him, and another devil says: What can you do with a man who has been guided, sufficed and protected? TRANSLATION: In the Name of Allah, I place my trust in Allah, there is no might or power except by Allah. (SUNAN TIRMIDHI Vol #6, Hadith #3426)

PROPHET MUHAMMAD (saws) said: Whoever enters the marketplace and say:

لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لاَ شَرِيكَ لَهُ لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ يُحْيِي وَيُمِيتُ وَهُوَ حَىٌّ لاَ يَمُوتُ بِيَدِهِ الْخَيْرُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ

(1) Allah shall record a million good deed for him, 2) Wipe a million evil deeds away from him, 3) Raise a million ranks for him and 4) Build a house in Paradise for him.

2) (Laa ILaaha IL LaL Laahu Wah Dahu Laa Shareeka Lahu Lahul Mulku Wa Lahul Hamdu Yuh Yee Wa Yu Meetu Wa Huwa Hayyul Laa Yamuutu Bi Yadihil Khairu Wa Huwa Ala Kulli Shay In Qadeer ) There is none worthy of worship except Allah, Alone, without partner, to Him belongs the dominion, and to Him is all the praise, He gives life and causes death, He is Living and does not die, in His Hand is the good, and He has power over all things.

3) (SUNAN TIRMIDHI Vol #6, Hadith #3428-3429)

PROPHET MUHAMMAD (saws) said: Place your hand at the place where you feel pain in your body and say

(بِاسْمِ اللَّهِ) Three times and (أَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ وَقُدْرَتِهِ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا أَجِدُ وَأُحَاذِرُ) Seven times

(Bismillah Auzu BiLLaahi Wa Qud Ratihi Min Sharri Maa Ajidu Wa'u Haazir)

In the Name of Allah I seek refuge in Allah and His Power from the evil of what I find and I fear. (SAHIH MUSLIM Vol #6, Hadith #5737) (SUNAN TIRMIDHI Vol #4, Hadith #2080)

PROPHET MUHAMMAD (saws) said:

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْبَرَصِ وَالْجُنُونِ وَالْجُذَامِ وَمِنْ سَيِّئِ الأَسْقَامِ

(Allah Humma Innii Auzu Bika Minal Barasi Wal Junooni Wal Juzaami Wa Min Sayyi IL Asqaam)

O Allah, I seek refuge in You from 1) Leukoderma, 2) Madness, 3) Leprosy, and 4) Evil diseases. (SUNAN ABU DAWUD Vol #2, Hadith #1554)

PROPHET MUHAMMAD (saws) said:

أَعُوذُ بِاللهِ السَّمِيعِ الْعَلِيمِ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيمِ مِنْ هَمْزَهِ وَنَفْخِهِ وَنَفْثِهِ

(Auzu BiLLahis Samee IL Aleemi Minash Shaitaanir Rajeemi Min Hamzihi Wa Naf Khi Hi Wa Nafsih)

I seek refuge of Allah, All-Hearing and All-Knowing from the accursed devil, 1) From his evil suggestion (hamz), 2) From his puffing up (nafkh), and 3) From his spitting (nafth). (SUNAN TIRMIDHI Vol #1, Hadith #242)

Narrated `Abdul `Aziz: Thabit and I went to Anas bin Malik. Thabit said, "O Abu Hamza! I am sick." On that Anas said, "Shall I treat you with the Ruqya of Allah's Messenger (saws)?" Thabit said, "Yes," Anas recited

النَّاسِ مُذْهِبَ الْبَاسِ اشْفِ أَنْتَ الشَّافِي لاَ شَافِيَ إِلاَّ أَنْتَ، شِفَاءً لاَ يُغَادِرُ سَقَمًا بَّ مَّ رَ اللَّهُ

(Allah Humma Rabban Naasi Muz Hibal Ba'sish Fi Antash Shaafee Laa Shaa Fiya ILLa Anta Shifa ALLa Yughadiru Saqama )

O Allah! The Lord of the people, the Remover of trouble! (Please) cure (Heal) (this patient), for You are the Healer. None brings about healing but You; a healing that will leave behind no ailment. (SAHIH BUKHARI Vol #7, Hadith #5742-5744, 5750)

It was narrated from Abu Sa'eed that Jibril (as), came to the Prophet Muhammad (saws) and said: "O Muhammad (saws), are you sick?" He said: "Yes." He (Jibril as) said:

عَيْنِ حَاسِدٍوْ بِاسْمِ اللَّهِ أَرْقِيكَ مِنْ كُلِّ شَىْءٍ يُؤْذِيكَ مِنْ شَرِّ كُلِّ نَفْسٍ أَ اللَّهُ يَشْفِيكَ بِاسْمِ اللَّهِ أَرْقِيكَ

(Bismil Laahi Arqeeq, Min Kulli Shay In Yuzeek, Min Kulli Nafsin Aou Ainin Haasid, Allahu Yashfeeka Bismil Laahi Arqeeq )

In the Name of Allah I perform Ruqyah for you, from everything that is harming you, from the evil of every soul or envious eye, may Allah heal you, in the Name of Allah I perform Ruqyah for you. (SAHIH MUSLIM Vol #6, Hadith #5700) (SUNAN TIRMIDHI Vol #2, Hadith #972)

Al-Hasan bin Ali (ra) said: Allah's Messenger (saws) taught me some phrases to say during Al- Witr

اللَّهُمَّ اهْدِنِي فِيمَنْ هَدَيْتَ وَعَافِنِي فِيمَنْ عَافَيْتَ وَتَوَلَّنِي فِيمَنْ تَوَلَّيْتَ وَبَارِكْ لِي فِيمَا أَعْطَيْتَ وَقِنِي شَرَّ مَا قَضَيْتَ فَإِنَّكَ تَقْضِي وَلاَ يُقْضَى عَلَيْكَ وَإِنَّهُ لاَ يَذِلُّ مَنْ وَالَيْتَ تَبَارَكْتَ رَبَّنَا وَتَعَالَيْتَ

(Allah Hummah Dini FeeMan Hadayt Wa Afinee FeeMan Aafayt Wa Tawallanee FeeMan Tawallayt Wa Baarik Lee FeeMaa Aatayt Waqinee Sharra Maa Qazayt Fa Innaka Taqzee Wala Yuqza Alayk Wa Innahu Laa Yazillu Mawwa Alayta Tabaarakta Rabbana Wata Aalayt)

O Allah guide me among those You have guided, pardon me among those You have pardoned, befriend me among those You have befriended, bless me in what You have granted, and save me from the evil that You decreed. Indeed You decree, and none can pass decree upon You, indeed he is not humiliated whom You have befriended, blessed are You our Lord and Exalted. (SUNAN TIRMIDHI Vol #1, Hadith #464)
